What is ‘Asthitwa’? It is a fight for survival. The protagonist in the film showcases three shades (he told only two shades in the beginning but later opened up) in the film. That is Yuvaraj debutant actor who is having background of theatre. He has taken training in Usha Bandari School of acting. He was working General Motors before coming to cinema.


According to director Nutan Umesh, this film derived from ‘Naan’ Tamil film of Vijay Anthony is absorbing in its contents. That has actually made him to pick this subject. There are nearly 15 characters in this film. It is not a regular love story. It has thrills. It is looking for ‘Asthitwa’ for me admitted Nutan Umesh. Ha has launched the film six months ago. He invited media for first look of the film. Music director Vijay Antony has scored the same tunes in this remake with new lyrics to suit the tunes. For Nutan Mahesh also this is his second film. His earlier one was ‘Krishnan Marriage Story’ that did well in the box office.


The first one for Vishwa Kariyappa of San City ‘Auto Raja’ was original. As against Rs.5.5 crores he made only Rs.3.5 crores. He has already spent Rs.2 crores. Expecting 1.5 crore on this film by the time it appears on silver screen. According to him Rs.1 crore is needed for publicity work.
